PAX Versicherungen - with approximately 160,000 customers and six billion Swiss francs in funds - wanted to establish a competitive advantage by leveraging its customer relationships. They realized that to remain competitive, it needed to understand its customers and the relationship each has with the company. The company also needed to consolidate its disparate systems into one integrated system to have a 360-degree view of customers to increase revenues and service levels. The company selected Oracle’s PeopleSoft Enterprise Sales and Marketing to consolidate bids and contractual data on its existing customers and to plan activities and interactions with potential customers.
